Peterhof Palace is a complex of palaces and gardens often called the Russian Versailles. Упражнение 15. Раскрытие скобок (Условные предложения 3-го типа — Conditional III). В данном упражнении описывается цепочка воображаемых событий в прошлом, поэтому используется формула: If + Past Perfect, would + have + V3. 1. If John hadn't overslept, he wouldn't have been late for work. 2. If he hadn't been late for work, his boss wouldn't have fired him. 3. If John hadn't lost his job, he wouldn't have walked in the streets in the afternoon. 4. If he hadn't walked in the streets, he wouldn't have seen the travel agency lottery. 5. If he hadn't seen the lottery, he wouldn't have won the tour to Egypt. 6. If he hadn't won the tour to Egypt, he wouldn't have gone sightseeing. 7. If he hadn't gone sightseeing, he wouldn't have got acquainted with the people from New York who offered him a job there. 8. If he hadn't got acquainted with them, he wouldn't have worked as a head manager of the bank. 9. If he hadn't worked as the head manager of the bank, he wouldn't have been happy and wouldn't have had money at all. Упражнение 16. Угадай чудеса света. 1.
