Решение упражнений на косвенную речь (Reported Speech): Past Simple и Past Perfect

Для продолжения упражнения на косвенную речь (Reported Speech) мы продолжаем использовать правило согласования времен. Так как вводное слово стоит в прошедшем времени (said), глаголы из Past Simple переходят в Past Perfect. Также не забываем менять местоимения по смыслу. Вот решения для записи в тетрадь: 3) I grew up very quickly, and my mother bought me new clothes every six months. He said that he had grown up very quickly, and his mother had bought him new clothes every six months. 4) When I was a child, I had three cats. She said that when she had been a child, she had had three cats. (Примечание: двойное "had had" — это норма для Past Perfect от глагола have). 5) During the war my grandfather was in the services. She said that during the war her grandfather had been in the service. 6) I did not like summer camps, because I felt very homesick. She said that she had not liked summer camps because she had felt very homesick.
