Задание №3 (Which of the young people could do the following...): - make a long distance tour abroad: Jennifer. (Proof: "I feel excited to learn different languages and visit various tourist attractions... in another country.") - relax in front of the telly: Jennifer's friends. (Proof: "They are satisfied with the Discovery Channel.") - do not travel far from home: Alison. (Proof: "My favourite destination is my hometown.") - go on a "package" holiday: Jennifer. (Proof: "But travelling is not only excursions, historical sights or wonderful seaside resorts.") - go on excursions to places of interest: Jennifer. (Proof: "I feel excited to... visit various tourist attractions.") 3. Задание №4 (What do you think about the ways Jennifer, Jeremy and Alison spend their holidays?): In my opinion, Jennifer has the most active and useful way of spending holidays. I find it great because she learns new languages and cultures, which helps to broaden her horizons. If you ask me, I think Jeremy's position is also understandable. All things considered, everyone has their own way to relax, and for some people, doing nothing is the best way to restore energy. I can't say that I agree with Alison. While loving one's hometown is a very patriotic and noble feeling, which is important for every citizen, I believe that visiting other places helps you appreciate your own home even more. It is good to be a "stay-at-home" person, but sometimes new experiences are necessary for personal growth.
